Joseph Chopyak, PA-C

Joseph (Joe) Chopyak, PA-C was born and raised in Denver. Graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1993 with a degree in Journalism. Moved to Libby and worked at The Western News as a reporter for 3 years. His interest in medicine began as an EMT with Libby Volunteer Ambulance. Joe attended Rocky Mountain College and earned a bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2003. After working in cardiology for 2 years at Butte, he came to NWCHC in 2005. Joe completed my master’s in physician assistant studies at University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2015. He is married to Wendy, a third-grade teacher at Libby Elementary. He enjoys fishing, hunting, gardening, and long-lazy floats on the Kootenai with family and friends

D. Taylor Williams, MD

D. Taylor Williams, MD was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT and completed medical school at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA before returning to Salt Lake City for residency training at St. Mark’s Family Medicine Residency. He practices full-scope family medicine caring for newborns, children, adults, and the elderly, including caring for pregnant women and delivering babies at the hospital, and a variety of in-office procedures. He is eager to help patients maintain good health through preventive care, as well as manage chronic medical problems. Prior to medical school, he studied Chinese in college and spent a total of three years living in China. He considers himself a family man and loves spending time outdoors with his wife and children. The beauty and recreation of Libby and northwest Montana attracted him to this area, with hobbies that include camping, hiking, snow and waterskiing, reading, music, woodworking, and traveling

Jana Hall, MD

Jana M. Hall, MD grew up in Western Washington. She was first introduced to Libby in 1999 when she spent 6 months here as a WRITE medical student. She then graduated from University of Washington School of Medicine in 2000 and graduated from Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in Boise in 2003. She started working at Northwest Community Health Center in 2003, right after graduation from residency. She practices full scope family medicine – seeing newborns to the elderly and all in-between. She also cares for pregnant women, does deliveries at the hospital, and provides a lot of procedures for the community at the clinic – vasectomy, colposcopy, LEEP, IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removals, to name a few. She enjoys living in Libby because of the beauty of the region and her love of outdoors. She enjoys camping, hiking, quilting, downhill skiing, playing tennis and volleyball, being mother to her 2 boys, and wife to her husband.

Samantha Pyle, MD

Dr. Samantha Pyle graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2008, and went on to complete her training at Martin Army Community Hospital Family Medicine Residency in 2011. Dr. Pyle is a Board-Certified Family Physician and will be providing full scope primary care and preventative medicine for NWCHC. She is originally from Cutbank, MT; so, there is no doubt that she is prepared for the Montana lifestyle.

Robert O’Rourke

Robert O’Rourke was born in Kalispell, Montana. I lived for the first few years in Libby, however my family moved to Seattle, Washington where I was raised. I loved spending my summers and school breaks back in Libby and promptly moved back permanently after graduating high school in 1993. 

I first fell in love with the medical field during the 10 years that I spent volunteering as an EMT for Libby Volunteer Ambulance. This love eventually led me to become a Respiratory Therapist and I worked for 16 years at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital, now Cabinet Peaks

Although Cardiopulmonary was a fantastic career opportunity, my true desire has always been to develop my skills and offer a higher level of service to my patients and community.

To that end, I returned to school to become a Physician Assistant and have worked in Family Medicine at the Libby Clinic since graduating in 2018.

I truly enjoy Family Medicine as it gives me the chance to get to know my patients and make a difference in almost every aspect of their lives.

I am excited to join the team at the Northwest Community Health Center where I hope to continue making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and the community that we serve

Kelli Rosas, FNP

Virginia “Kelli” Rosas RN, MSN, FNP-C was born and raised in Mississippi. She graduated in 2001 from The University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Then obtained Master of Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2003. Since graduating she has worked in various specialties which include Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Ortho Spine, Neurosurgery and Urgent Care. Kelli loves being a Nurse Practitioner to care for patients holistically addressing all aspects of care including physical, mental and spiritual aspects. She strives to give best care to each patient and is honored to be entrusted with their care. She has lived in Lynchburg, Virginia for the past 5 years while 4 daughters were attending Liberty University. Kelli and her husband recently moved to Libby to be near grandchildren. She has a blended family with her husband Mike which includes 6 adult children, 4 grandchildren, and one on the way. Kelli loves spending time with family, cooking, gardening, reading, and being outdoors.

Skyler Gallaway, PA-C

Skyler Gallaway, PA-C was born and raised in Eastern Washington. He recently joined the NWCHC team and earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University. Prior to his starting with us, he worked as a Crisis Response Counselor, and as an EMT for several years where he developed his love for providing adaptive healthcare. He was drawn to Lincoln County after visiting several years ago and has been awaiting an opportunity to be a part of and contribute to its beautiful community. He enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, gardening, water and winter sports, building/renovation projects, and everything outdoors.

Nina Petrosyan, MD

Dr. Nina Petrosyan is a dedicated family medicine physician with specialized training in obstetrics and three years of hands-on experience. Having delivered countless babies in Greeley, Colorado, she is well-versed in both vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. Dr. Petrosyan finds joy in supporting families through the incredible journey of starting their own family, often delivering multiple siblings for the same families. 

In Greeley, she provided exceptional care to many mothers with high-risk pregnancies, and she is passionate about helping her patients navigate any challenges to ensure a positive pregnancy and delivery experience. Her journey began with her undergraduate studies at UCLA followed by medical school at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. 

Dr. Petrosyan and her family are excited to be a part of the Libby community. When she’s not caring for patients, she’s busy chasing after a lively toddler and eagerly looking forward to expanding her own family in the future. 

Dr. Petrosyan is eager to bring her expertise and warm, compassionate care to the families of Libby.
