Jennifer Anderson, LCSW
I was born in Kalispell, MT, and grew up in Rexford, MT, near Eureka until age six, when my family moved to the Libby area. I graduated high school Valedictorian of my senior class and went on to receive my undergraduate degree from Anderson University in Indiana. Cory and I married in 2001, and we have four beautiful children (three boys and one girl), currently ages 15, 13, 11, and 8. Cory and I lived in Idaho for two years (near Wallace area) after we were first married as he completed his first job teaching science at the local high school, and I worked as a youth pastor. We moved back home to Libby in 2005 to raise our four children, who are the joy of my life! Cory has taught science at the Troy High school since we moved back, and I ended up opening a daycare in Libby for a couple years when my children were young. I decided to pursue therapy work and completed my master’s degree in Social Work from University of Southern California online program, graduating in 2013. Before starting my work at NWCHC as a therapist in 2017, I was a therapist at Head Start’s Altacare’s CSCT school counseling program for two and a half years.

After earning his Bachler’s degree in Social Work, he worked as an addiction’s counselor in a detox program, a residential treatment center, a boarding school, and a half-way house totaling over 20 year. He went back to school (you are never too old to learn) for his master’s degree in Professional counselling from Grand Canyon University before moving to AK for 4 years where he was the Behavioral Health Therapist for a children’s shelter. He has years of experience working with adolescents, addictions and crisis intervention in addition to behavioral health therapy.
