Behavioral Health Treatment Philosophy

We believe people seeking help for mental illness or substance use disorders should feel empowered and supported – not ashamed or embarrassed.

With a specific focus on integrating behavioral health into our primary care setting, Northwest CHC’s behavioral health team is creating a forward-thinking approach to providing care to people dealing with mental health issues. 

Through collaboration and evidenced based practices we choose to focus our efforts on:

• Routine Screening for and detecting mental illness for all patients we serve
• Using internal resources and expertise to treat mental illness in its early stage
• Using educating and skills building our goal is to prevent and reduce crises for our patients and within our community
  

Behavioral Health Services for Children and Teens

Young people with behavioral or emotional problems often struggle at home and in school. Problems making friends, succeeding in school and participating in extra-curricular activities can become serious issues for children and teens. Our behavioral health specialists can help. Behavioral Health Services are available at Libby Middle High School weekly every Thursday during school hours with Jenny Anderson, LCSW.
