Dr. Samantha Smalley, DMD

Dr. Samantha Smalley was born and raised in Sweet Home Alabama. She left her hometown of Anniston, AL to attend the University of Notre Dame where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics, as well as a Master of Science in Management. She continued her studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry where she graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Montana Dental Association. Following dental school, her sense of adventure and love for the outdoors led her to this job opportunity in Libby. Dr. Smalley and her husband Jack made the 2,300 mile trip and have been enjoying Libby together ever since. She also loves skiing, yoga, traveling, and anything related to her beloved Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Naomi Nash – Libby, MO – Northwest Community Health

Naomi Nash, RDH

Naomi Nash is a hygienist who began working in 1985. She earned her Registered Dental Hygiene degree from NDSCS with an Associates of Science degree and is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and the Montana Dental Hygiene Association and holds a Limited Access Permit and Local Anesthetic Permit in the State of Montana. She Currently care for not only the patients that come to the CHC, but she also cares for the residents of the Libby Care Center on a frequent basis. She loves her job after 30 years! She lives in Libby with her husband. She enjoys food and cooking it, knitting, biking, walking, and yoga with friends. Her two children attend MSU and U of M

Wai Kyes, RDH

Waipuilani Kyes was born in Honolulu, HI and raised in Washington state. She started her dental career as a dental assistant at the age of 19, graduating from Bryman technical college for dental assisting. After 12+ years of assisting she went on to Dental hygiene school, where she graduated from Seattle’s PIMA Medical institute’s, Dental Hygiene program with her Associates of Applied Science in 2022. Wai is also a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. In her free time, Wai loves to cook, hike and hunt with her husband, walking her Great Dane named Mack, and is recently trying her hand at gardening. She has been happily married for 11 years. Wai is looking forward to providing her many years of dental skills and dental hygiene knowledge to Libby and is excited to be part of the community.
